This goes around my dash every few weeks, and one of the things I don’t recall seeing brought up is this: even if you have time to shop/comparision shop/go to a farmer’s market…are you home regularly enough, with a working storage system, that all this food won’t just go bad?  Because I have to tell you, as a poor person with a fridge that doesn’t function well and a minifridge we use as an icebox for things like milk…the shitty food with all the preservatives in it is cheaper (usually) and doesn’t rot as quickly, and since the fridge stopped working, that’s become an additional consideration. (And, as always, ugh, living on just rice and beans for weeks on end.  I’ve done that several times in my life, out of necessity, and honestly?  Towards the end of the second week, I’d rather go hungry than keep eating that shit for every meal.) YES LOL at people who think you gon get some Big Macs when you’re poor. LOL no, bitch. You get the dollar fry and the dollar burger. Ain’t no time nor money to get fancy with a 10pc chicken nugget. STOP. Preach. I don’t know ANYONE who spends 27 dollars at McDonalds. My mom, me and my two siblings at MOST would his the 10-12 dollar mark all together. This is some baby back bullshit.  Wow…these fuckers  These dusty fuckers… $10 = 10 double cheeseburgers. this must be american coz there isnt a place where vegies and fruits are THAT much cheaper than maccas…actually maccas is cheaper than all of that tbh
